We are an NGO whose focus is to help young children from rural areas attend school by raising funds to pay for school fees. The scholarships start from as young as preschool and continue all the way to the end of grade 12.
Here are some of the kids we are helping so far:
This is Yonda. He is the child who inspired us to start NTTG. He is the first beneficiary of the scholarship and started in preschool. He is now in Grade 2. His mother and grandmother are both extremely dedicated to getting “Yond” a good education. Their passion for Yonda’s future is what moved us to start NTTG. We will be forever grateful for Yonda and the amazing people in his family.
Yonda is a quiet, friendly, hardworking kid. He has a good sense of humor and is generally quirky. He has a kind and caring soul. We think he is pretty cool.
This is Luthando. Hard at work at his desk at Shaw Park Primary. He is currently in Grade 5. Luthando is a good sportsman and is an all-rounder in his cricket team. He is a responsible chap for his age and is really popular among the children at school. He often looks after the younger children.
These two little legends couldn’t speak a word of English when they started at Shaw Park and they have both come really far.
